REGULAR MEMBERSHIP IN THE PCTA
I. Requirements for REGULAR MEMBERSHIP in the PCTA are as follows:
Accomplished PCTA (Philippine Cable Television Association, Inc.) Application Form for Membership duly signed by the applicant or its duly authorized representative (in duplicate form).
Provisional Authority or Certificate of Authority to operate a cable TV system in the Philippines from the National Telecommunications Commission.
Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws together with the Certificates issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (photocopies). Articles of Partnership and business registration, certificate with the Bureau of Domestic Trade, if partnership (photocopies). If Single Proprietorship, submit a photocopy of business registration, certificate with the Bureau of Domestic Trade or its equivalent in your country.
Local Government Documents: Resolution of Sanggunian Bayan or Panglunsod and Mayor´s permit.
Certificate signed by Authorized Official of the Corporation/Partners/Owner Authorizing the filing of application for membership with the PCTA including the designation of an authorized representative of the Corporation/Partnership/Proprietor to the Association.
Payment of Annual Membership Fee (P1,000.00 + the applicable area assessment fee based on DILG listing)
II. Privileges of a Regular Member
A Regular Member of the PCTA has the right to vote and to be elected in the Association. Likewise they are entitled to all notices, announcements and communiqués from the Board of Directors of the Association and other information regarding the cable television industry to be published by the Association. They shall receive a copy of the CABLE LINE.
III. Relevant Provisions of the PCTA By-Laws regarding Membership in the Association
ARTICLE V: MEMBERSHIP
- SECTION I: CLASSIFICATION OF MEMBERS
- The membership of the association shall consists of Charter members, Regular members, Individual members and Affiliate members.
- SECTION II: CHARTER MEMBERS
- Charter members shall be any corporation, firm or entity which became members of the association at the time of the approval of its By-Laws. Charter member shall have right to vote.
- SECTION III: REGULAR MEMBERS
- Regular members shall be any corporation, firm or entity which is franchise grantee and/or authorized by the government to operate at least a cable television system in the Philippines and which becomes a member of the association after the approval of its By-Laws. Regular members shall have the right to vote.
- SECTION IV: INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
- Individual members shall be any person engaged in the cable television industry in a managerial or supervisory capacity and at the time of his application, employed by a Charter or regular member and must have served his employer at least one continuous year prior to his application. Individuals members shall not have the right to vote.
- SECTION V: AFFILIATE MEMBERS
- Affiliate members shall be any person (juridical or natural) but who is profoundly interested in the progress and development of the cable television industry. Affiliate members shall not have the right to vote nor be elected to office.
- SECTION VI: EXERCISE OF RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
- A charter or regular member shall exercise its membership through an authorized representative or an accredited alternate. An individual or affiliate member shall exercise his membership personally.
- SECTION VII: APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
- A candidate for membership in the Association must file an application for membership upon a form prepared by the Association and addressed to the Board of Directors. The applicant shall become a member only upon approval of the Board and upon payment of the first annual fee.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP IN THE PCTA
I. Requirements for an AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP in the PCTA are as follows:
- Accomplished PCTA (Philippine Cable Television Association, Inc.)
Application Form for Membership duly signed by the applicant or its duly
authorized representative (in duplicate form).
- Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws together with the Certificates issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission (photocopies).
Articles of Partnership and business registration, certificate with the Bureau of Domestic Trade, if partnership (photocopies).
If Single Proprietorship, submit a photocopy of business registration, certificate with the Bureau of Domestic Trade or its equivalent in your country. - Certificate signed by Authorized Official of the Corporation/Partners/Owner Authorizing the filing of application for membership with the PCTA including the designation of an authorized representative of the Corporation/Partnership/Proprietor to the Association.
- Payment of Membership Fee (US$300.00)
II. Privileges of an Affiliate Member
An Affiliate Member of the PCTA is entitled to all notices, announcements and communiqués from the Board of Directors of the Association and other information regarding the cable television industry to be published by the Association. They shall likewise receive a copy of the CABLE LINE.
