PCTA Fun Golf Tournament:To The Highest Level!
To open the annual PCTA Convention 2008, the Fun Golf Tournament teed off last April 22 at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo City. Mr. Philip Chien, this year's Convention Chairman and Felipe Bince III, Chairman for the Golf Tournament welcomed the sponsors and guests. Most of the 15 companies who sponsored are steady and regular supporters of PCTA and they include Solar Entertainment Corporation, Access, Satellite Cable Network, Inc., The Network Parts, ACCION, Sky Cable, Harmonic, AXN, AXN Beyond, Animax, Bloomberg Television, and Parasat Cable TV, Inc. Bayantel and Pascual Laboratories Inc., are the newest sponsors this year. Trophies of appreciation were given to the sponsors.
The Fun Golf Tournament was participated in by 37 players. To name a few, were Mr. Eugenio Lopez III, ABS-CBN Chairman who started the tee-off, Mr. Enrique Delos Santos, Cable Boss Executive Vice- President (a yearly participant), Mr. Jonathan Spink, HBO Chief Executive Officer and Steve Burton who delightfully surprised everyone by their first attendance. And not to be outdone were our own PCTA officers and directors, President Allan Dungao, Convention Chairman Philip Chien, Chairman Ralph Casino, Vice-President Elpidio Paras, Treasurer Felipe Bince III, Director Carlo Katigbak and Director Manuel Dabao.
As always, this annual event is looked forward to by the PCTA and its industry friends as an opportunity to renew and deepen friendships. Of course, as in every Tournament, the winners were awarded with different premium items from PLDT.
