Now´s The Best Time to Sign Up For
PCTA Convention 2009!

From now until November 1, 2008, the PCTA will extend a discounted delegate's rate of only P3,000 to the first 120 persons that will sign up as delegate to the 2009 PCTA Convention scheduled to be held on March 11-13 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

PCTA Convention Chairman Philip Chien announced the promotion recently, stressing that it is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and open only to PCTA members. "Given the rate of inflation at this time, we believe that this would be a great way of encouraging cable operators and their personnel to sign up and attend the convention", he said.

The regular delegate's rate for PCTA members is P4,000 while non-member cable operators will have to pay P5,500. The regular rate will be applied once all 120 slots are taken up.

PCTA Convention 2009 combines a topnotch conference with a dazzling exhibition in one venue. Now on its 17th year, the event has never failed to attract the industry's major stakeholders and the leading companies supplying it for three days of business dealing, negotiating, and networking. A must-attend event for all members of the cable industry, the PCTA Convention provides all participants with a platform to present or be acquainted with new products and technologies while having fun and fostering camaraderie.

Delegates surely have a lot to look forward to in next year's convention. The conference program is replete with informational sessions that make for a thought-provoking learning experience for all. Along with plenary sessions, management and technical sessions will be conducted. A technical room will also be put up where technical personnel could pit their hands-on skill with each other. On March 13, the Cablelympics, a technical quiz show, will be held to determine the best all-around technical person in the cable industry.

Cable operators and interested parties may call the PCTA Secretariat at telephone numbers 638-8544 and 638-8541 for any inquiries or to request for a Delegate Registration Form.
